I am notworriedaboutMONEY, an almost-40 husband to my wife for 15 years, a dad to my 2 kids. We are a two-income family living in a nice neighborhood. We both earn a good amount of money from our jobs. Just to give you a hint about our income level, we exceeded the income cut-off for Roth-IRA, the stimulus package and the home rebate from the state.

We never really encountered any serious money problem but we are not keeping much from our income. We started to look at our current financial situation this year and have decided to be money smart…to keep enough for our retirement by changing our 401k contribution to 10% of our income, save 15% of our after-tax income and start paying our debt obligations such as credit cards, car loan and mortgage.

I am blogging to keep a journal of our journey towards financial freedom…to be not worried about money.
